Brief info

Marsha Clarke is an environmental professional specializing in ecological restoration, reclamation, and vegetation ecology across the mining, consulting, and non-profit sectors. She holds a BSc in Environmental Practice and has led field-based programs, developed vegetation strategies to support biodiversity, and contributed to ecosystem assessment in remote landscapes. Her interest in restoration began through hands-on work in erosion control and
bioengineering, where she saw firsthand the impact of restoring disturbed environments. Marsha moved to Fernie in 2010 after a decade in the tourism industry, and her strong connection to the region continues to guide her work. She is dedicated to supporting land conservation and stewardship initiatives that protect local ecosystems and help ensure these landscapes remain healthy and accessible for future generations.
