A relatively recent import to Fernie, Mark and his family arrived in Fernie in August 2018 from Scotland. The attraction of a small town community, with outstanding recreation opportunities on the doorstep was one of the main draws. Mark is a CPA, and is the Business Manager at the Fernie Brewing Company. The outdoors has always been a huge part of his life, he ski raced in his early years, and was a member of the British Sailing Team, competing in 4 World Championships in the Laser Class, then coached at the Paralympics in 2004. He can now be found out on the trails hiking or mountain biking with his wife Bec and their four girls. During the winter you will find him at the ski hill, or nordic skiing in the dark after work. Mark represents the Fernie Mo8ntain Biking Club on the EVRLT Board.
