Ashlee holds a PhD In Resource Management and Environmental Studies from the University of British Columbia, where her interdisciplinary research spanned hydrology, water quality, forest harvest impacts, water policy, and citizen science. She has over 10 years experience within the water realm in British Columbia including hydrology, water monitoring and modelling, land use impacts on water quality and quantity, and environmental data science. Ashlee is also pleased to act on the Elk River Alliance Board of Directors, and has been lucky to call Fernie home since 2019.
