Roger is the co-founder and former CEO of a successful Calgary business, is currently semi-retired and now lives full-time in Fernie, BC. At present he serves as Chairman and Director respectively of two Calgary businesses and also runs a small consulting practice. First drawn to the Fernie by the legendary powder skiing, first class mountain biking and spectacular hiking the Valley is known for, he and his wife have made Fernie their second home since 1999. Over this period, Roger has developed a deep connection with the Elk Valley community and the surrounding wilderness. Roger has been in leadership roles for close to 20 years and has investor relations experience in both Canada and the US. He brings to the team vision, passion, and an entrepreneurial “can do” attitude. Over the past 15 years, Roger has sat as director and committee member for various companies, not-for-profit organizations and an academic institution.
